✅ 3 Month Warranty – For Used Products

At ADU Kft., we would like all our customers to buy from us with peace of mind – even if it is a used product. That is why we offer a 3-month warranty on all our used machines!

This is not just a promise, but a fair, predictable system that helps our customers make decisions. Let’s see what it means exactly:

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty only covers product failures.

In the event of defects related to the operation of the product, we will repair it, provide spare parts or – if necessary – replace it.

Shipping costs, delivery costs, and labor are not included in the warranty service, only for Győr and a 10 km radius

Management of spare parts costs

We will cover the price of the spare part if it is in proportion to the total price of the machine.

If it is higher, we can even cover the cost in a 50/50 ratio with the customer's consent - this way we can ensure the machine's fault-free operation for years.

When is the warranty valid?

The machine must be used as intended.

For example, in the case of machines that operate with water, the use of a water softener is mandatory.

The machine must operate in a suitable location and under suitable environmental conditions.

The defect must be reported in writing within 7 days of discovery (szerviz@adukft.hu).

What is not covered by the warranty?

Defects resulting from negligence or improper use

Damage caused by improper installation, repair, transportation or storage

Natural wear and tear (e.g. wear, discoloration, seals, bearings, filters)

Glass breakage, cracks, physical damage

Incompetent intervention or installation of parts not provided by us

Repair conditions

If we repair the defect and the warranty is valid, we will provide the spare part free of charge. We also undertake to deliver the spare part!

In the case of on-site repair, the fees are:

Departure: 380 HUF + VAT / km (round trip)

Labor fee: 17,900 HUF + VAT / person / hour

(prices valid for 2025)

External service – when is it acceptable?

The warranty is valid even if we do not repair the machine, but:

the repair is done in advance,

the repair service confirms the defect and the repair with a worksheet, photos and video.

In this case, we only reimburse the part, the labor fee is paid by the buyer.

What happens if it cannot be repaired?

If the product defect cannot be repaired or is not worth repairing:

Returned within 1 week: full refund of the purchase price, buy-back or offset against another product.

After 1 week and within 3 months: offset against the price of another product (whether new, used or of another type). In this case, we are no longer able to refund the price of the product!

Can't you see the machine in person?

If you can't come, we will send you a video and detailed pictures of the product.

The purchase will only take place if you send this in writing.

When does the warranty expire?

If the machine is not used, installed or repaired according to the instructions (instructions for use or other information)

If maintenance is not performed

If the defect is not reported within 7 days

If a part not provided by us is installed

Legal background - Buying a used product in the case of B2B

It is important to know that when buying a used product between businesses (in a B2B transaction), consumer protection rules - such as the 14-day right of withdrawal - do not apply. In this type of transaction, the Civil Code (Ptk.) and the agreement between the parties are the governing principles.

This means that:

The guarantee is not mandatory, but is a fully voluntary guarantee undertaken by the Seller.

The parties are free to agree on the scope, duration and conditions of the guarantee.

The buyer is obliged to carefully examine the product before purchasing or - failing that - to accept the information provided by the Seller (e.g. video, photo, written condition description).

The 3-month guarantee detailed above is a voluntary undertaking by ADU Kft., which serves the interests of B2B customers and is based on good faith and fair cooperation.
